Aqui começa a parte absurdamente importante do processo! Como disse mais cedo, use bons produtos, não tenha medo de gastar um pouco mais !

Eu aconselho o uso somente de descolorantes profissionais, por uma razão, eles saturam depois de 40 minutos e parar de clarear seu cabelo. Então você nunca vai fritar seu cabelo por acidente, só se realmente quiser. Recomendo particularmente o Wella Multi Blonde, uso ele a quase 3 anos e meu cabelo não partiu quase nada. O L'Oreal eu usei quando tive cabelo loiro (beeem claro) e por mais que o processo tenha sido bastante agressivo, meu cabelo só começou a partir depois de um ano de loiro, e na verdade foi culpa da colorista que não soube avaliar que meu cabelo estava muito frágil. Enfim, é um bom produto também :)
Outra coisa a se pensar é a volumagem da água oxigenada que você irá usar, mas vou falar sobre isso no próximo post ;)

So, here starts the most crucial part of the candy hair process! As I've said on my last post, use good quality products, don't be afraid to spend a little more money! I strongly recommend you use professional bleaches! I am not too sure which ones are available on your country but I will talk about two brands that are pretty much available everywhere.
I highly recommend Wella's Multi Blonde lightening powder, it stops acting after 40 minutes, so it'll diminishes the chances of accidental overprocessing. Also, it has a lot of good properties that will keep your hair in a better condition than regular drugstore bleach. I have been using this for almost 3 years and my hair barely had break offs.
Another nice product is Platifiz Precision and Plantinium by L'Oreal. I have used Platifiz when I had blonde hair. Now, I have very dark hair and went up to an almost platinum shade, so yes I had a lot of break offs, but I was blonde for a whole year. So these products are really nice as well ;)
Another thing to think of, is the level of the peroxide you are going to use, but that is something for the next post ;)

Shampoo e tratamentos/ Shampoo and treatments:

Depois de fritar seu cabelo, você precisar tratar! Tanto o shampoo quanto tratamentos são muito importantes. O ideal é você usar um shampoo para cabelos coloridos ou qualquer shampoo que tenha propriedades emolientes.
Logo depois de descolorir é importante o uso de um shampoo de PH ácido que ajude a fechar as cutículas do seu cabelo, e logo em seguida um tratamento reconstrutor, como o KPak da Joico ou o Extreme da Redken. Mas depois disso é melhor seguir com os produtos hidratantes, já que queratina demais também faz o cabelo quebrar!
Para hidratação indico a Intense Hydrating Mask da Morrocan oil (vou fazer review ;) )  e o Moisture Recovery Balm da Joico. Eles funcionam maravilhosamente bem, e já ouvi isso de mais de uma pessoa ;)

Semana que vem, o processo de descoloração e coloração <3 

After frying up your hair, you're gonna have to give it some serious TLC! Both shampoo and treatments are very important. Ideally, you should use a low PH shampoo right after coloring, because it will help closing up the hair cuticles. But after this you should switch for a color safe shampoo or a hydrating one, it all comes down to the detergent in it. It has to be gentle!

Now, treatments! Right after you'll need some reconstruction, and for that Joico's Kpak and Redken's Extreme are my fave products for that. But, remember, too much keratin also leads to breakage!

For hydration I highly recommend the Intense Hydrating Mask by Morrocan Oil (I will review it) and Joico's Moisture Recovery Balm, these babies will leave your hair like silk!

Então, lilás pra poodle? azul para maltês? Ai, tudo errado !!!! rs...Eu reordenaria esses cachorrinhos aí porque me incomoda muito essas escolhas de cor totalmente aleatórias...
Mas enfim, a coleção é fofa! As 3 cores pastéis tem um efeito fleck que faz com que elas sejam mais especiais que as outras, e a Husky é um teal lindo cremoso e bem brilhoso. Mas as outras cores, achei sem graça e não me chamaram atenção.
A cobertura varia entre 2 e 3 camadas para os esmaltes que tem um acabamento mais jelly.
Qual a opinião de vocês sobre essa coleção ?


Poodle got Lilac?? Maltese got blue?? Oh no, all wrong!!! LOL, I desperatly want to reorder the names and shades! It bothers me because it feels like they were randomly chosen...
Anyways, the collection is pretty cute! The 3 pastel shades are creme + glass flecks, and that makes them a win on my book! Husky is a lovely teal creme that dries super shiny, but the other shades...meh.
The coverage varies, 2/3 coats for the shades that have a more jelly finish.
So, what's your opinion on this ?

Candy Hair - DIY pt.1 : as tintas/the dyes

Então, quando fiz o primeiro post sobre cabelos coloridos, fiquei na dúvida se eu postava dicas de como fazer ou não. Mas decidi que sim.
Mas preciso deixar um aviso, descolorir o cabelo FERRA com o cabelo. Principalmente se você tiver cabelo naturalmente escuro e quiser ir pra tons muito claros, por isso eu recomendo que façam com um profissional.(Eu mesma vou em salão fazer, mesmo sabendo a técnica) Mas se resolverem fazer vocês mesmas, gastem mais um pouco e comprem produtos de melhor qualidade porque realmente faz diferença ;)

Vamos aos produtos ;)

So, when I wrote my first post on fantasy-colored hair, I didn't know if I should post tips on how to diy or not. But, I need to warn you that bleaching can pretty much RUIN your hair. Specially if your natural shade is dark and you want to go super light. So I really recommend you do this with a professional. (I go to a salon myself, even though I know how it works) But, if you still decide to do it yourselves, please spend a little more on good quality products, because it makes a huge difference ;)


Now, to the products ;)

TINTAS/DYES

Todas as tintas cor fantasia são semi permanentes, elas só depositam cor no cabelo. Não clareiam, e por isso não precisam de revelador. A aplicação é muito simples, só aplicar por cima do cabelo seco e esperar um tempo razoável (entre 40 mins e uma hora) e enxaguar (sem usar shampoo!). 

A média de duração da cor varia de produto pra produto e a quantidade de vezes que você lava os cabelos, mas costuma durar entre 2 semanas e até 3 meses com tintas como a Special Effects.

Uma listinha de tintas para ajudar:

All fantasy shade dyes are semi permanent, they act as stains, they are deposit only dyes that do not need developer to stick to your hair. But, you need to previously bleach your hair. 

The application is very simple, you only need to apply the product over dry hair, and let it sit about 40 mins to one hour, and rinse (not with shampoo though!)

How long the dye will last on your hair depends very much on which product you used and how often do you wash your hair. It can go from 2 weeks to 3 months with dyes like Special Effects.

Now, a little list of dyes:

Esse primeiro grupo é de tintas importadas. Algumas são vendidas em lojas online no BR ( a Jeans é a mais fácil de achar) e outras requerem um pouco mais de procura rs...

A Jean's color é a que estou usando agora e só tenho boas coisas a dizer, o cheiro é ótimo e a durabilidade está sendo bem boa. Lavo os cabelos 2x por semana e já dura um mês!
De qualquer forma, se você quer uma tintura que dure pouco: Punky Colour, Manic Panic (normal) e Directions são tintas com pouca adesão. Mas se você quer que dure: Special Effects e Chroma Silk Vivids tem sido eleitas as favoritas das rosas de plantão ;) O preço delas acompanha o poder de duração da cor.

This first group is all international dyes (mostly US). They should be easy to find on the US and UK, but not too sure about everywhere else :/

I have Jean's color on right now, and am loving it! It smells heavenly and it lasts! I wash my hair twice a week, dyed it a month ago and I still have a gorgeous pink on!

Anyways, if you are looking for color that fades fast, go for: Punky Colour, regular Manic Panic and Directions. But if you are looking for die hard dye (he he he) go for: Jean's Color, ChromaSilk vivids and Special effects. These last two are a must for long lasting pink dyes ;) Also, the pricing is somewhat proportional to how long they stay on.

Tintas brasileiras! Na época que eu era adolescente isso não existia rs...tive que comprar tinta rosa na Inglaterra :P

Nunca usei nenhuma dessas tintas, já vi opiniões de pessoas e variam bastante. Dizem que a Exotic não fica como a cor que anunciam e sái fácil. O mesmo foi dito sobre a Keraton Hard. Mas falam muito bem da Candy Color. Todas estão na mesma faixa de preço e são achadas online.

Brazilian dyes! If only these existed when I was a teen! I had to go all the way to England to get me a pink dye :P
I have never used any of these products, but I have researched around and the opinions vary. Some say Exotic does not look like the color they advertised and comes out easily, the same was said about Keraton Hard. Candy Color on another hand, had only positive reviews.
They cost all around the same price and are found on brazilian e-tailers.

MAC - Review & Swatches - Mac Me Over collection: Oh,Oh,Oh & Rebel

Como o título já diz, esses são dois dos oito batons lançados na coleção Mac Me Over, que já saiu a um tempinho lá fora, mas acho que ainda está a venda aqui no br :)

As the title says, these are two of the eight lipsticks released with the Mac Me Over collection, that came out quite a while ago internationally, but I think it's still being sold here in Brazil.

O Oh,Oh,Oh é uma surpresa, ele é uma cor muito esquisitinha na bala, mas quando você passa ele é lindo. Um vinho bem translúcido com brilho dourado, lembra muito os tipos de combinações que vemos em glosses, mas em forma, e acabamento de batom. Amo ele e está sempre na minha bolsa !
O Rebel é um magenta escuro maravilhoso, desde que pintei o cabelo de castanho escuro é uma das cores que mais amo usar (além do Centrifuschia da Lime Crime).  Uma observação: achava que ele ficava horrível quando estava ruiva :/

Oh,Oh,Oh it's a surprise lipstick, when you see it you think, oh such a ugly thing...Then you put it on and it looks amazing! It's shade is a very sheer burgundy with golden sparkles. This really reminds me of the kind of combination you would see in a lipgloss, but with a lipstick finish! I love this and it is always on my purse !
Rebel is a awesome dark magenta shade. Ever since I dyed my hair dark brown this is my second favorite shade of lipstick (first being Lime Crime's Centrifuschia). Just a note, when I tried this on as a redhead,  it looked aweful :/
