Another collection I cannot understand why is labeled as RTW, the complexity and execution of these gowns are exquisite! Haute Couture material!
Marchesa keeps on marching with their signature style, but, some of these dresses remind me a bit of another maison's work...(even though Sam does not fully agree w/me :P)

Achei que alguns dos bordados lembraram muito o trabalho do McQueen, mas conservando a identidade da Marchesa, que é muito mais clássica e não tão edgy quanto a outra maison citada.
Muitas pessoas criticaram a tendência ao excesso de tule que a Marchesa anda usando desde umas duas coleções pra trás, mas por mim? Rs...podem continuar, amo exageros !

Well, I think the centralized embroidery on some of these dresses scream McQueen to me, but still, they also scream Marchesa, since they are on the more classical and less edgy side of fashion.
I've read that a few people are quite annoyed by the amount of tule and full skirts Marchesa has been delivering us in their last collections. But, honestly? I say bring it on! Love the volume!
And, omg, that white dress with the gold embroidery!!

Não adianta, sou completamente apaixonada pelo estilo Marchesa. Sempre conseguem colocar nos desfiles tudo que faz meus olhinhos brilharem: rendas, transparências, plumas, brilhos, bordados. O minimalismo passa bem longe dos desfiles Marchesa, mas, nesse caso é exatamente a graça. Essa coleção inverno 2012 não foi diferente: looks etéreos com detalhes, muitos detalhes, principalmente em fios de ouro, tule, brocados, e predomintantemente nas cores prata, dourado, vermelho e azul. Enfim, apesar de nada muito diferente para a marca, são aqueles típicos vestidos de princesa que com certeza estarão nos próximos red carpets. Aguardo ansiosamente! =)
Os vestidos mais duvidosos da coleção foram justamente os que fugiram da regra de sempre, repararam? Então Marchesa, fica a dica: se melhorar estraga! ;)
I can't help it, I am completely in love with Marchesa's style. They always manage to showcase everything I love on every fashion show: lace, transparency, feathers, bling(!) and lots of embroidery. Minimalism is definitely never around in Marchesa collections, but isn't that the fun part?
This Fall their collection brought us the whole thing, lots of ethereal looks with complex detailing, specially gold thread embroidery, tulle all in shades of silver, golden, red and blue. Even though this is no news when it comes to Marchesa collections. These are all typical 'princess dresses' that will probably pop up like crazy on the red carpet! Can't wait to see them ! =)
The only dresses that didn't really please were exactly the ones that aren't typical Marchesa ones, have you noticed?
So, Marchesa, hear me out: don't try to get any better, you're already perfection! ;)
