Illamasqua - Review & Swatches: Raindrops

O Raindrops foi lançado a um tempinho atrás e fez parte da coleção de 3 esmaltes que foram idéias de bloggers. Os outros dois foram Shrapnel e Eclipse.

   

Raindrops was released a while ago in a collection that featured 3 polishes inspired on blogger's ideas. The other two were Shrapnel and Eclipse.

Nota/Grade: A+

Desde a 1a vez que eu tinha visto esse esmalte eu fiquei muito interessada. Muitos reviews reclamavam dele ser muito translúcido logo que foi lançado, mas eu até que achava o efeito jelly bonito.

    Resolvi comprar ele junto com os da Toxic Nature, e para a minha surpresa, ele cobriu completamente com duas camadas!

    O efeito dos flecks é lindo, e bem sutil. Perfeito <3

Since I first saw Raindrops when it was released, I was very interested in this polish. Many reviews complained that it was too sheer, but I kinda liked the fact that it was jelly and a bit sheer.

   So, I decided to get this with the Toxic Nature ones, and for my surprise, it covered completely in only 2 coats!

    The flecky effect is gorgeous and subtle. Perfection <3

Make-up! - Bird of Paradise

Esse look foi uma inspiração que me veio do nada. Estava desenhando algumas idéias de looks, e queria usar duas sombras da Sugarpill, ai essa idéia surgiu. Achei tão colorida que me lembrou pássaros tropicais, em especial o que chamam de "aves do paraíso". Olha que lindo o "Pavão dourado", por exemplo ;)

   

This look came out of nowhere. I was doodling some make up look ideas, and was thinking of a way to use two Sugarpill eyeshadows, and this idea came up. It is so colorful and bright that instantly reminded me of "Birds of Paradise". Take a look at how gorgeous the "Golden peacock" is for example ;)

Tutorial:

Rosto/Face:

No rosto eu usei a base Pro Lumière da Chanel ( 10 - Nude ) com o Rice Powder da Palladio 

( Translúcido), blush Peaches da MAC + Iluminador Pink Leopard da Too Faced.

On my face I wore Chanel's Pro Lumière ( 10 - Nude ) w/ Palladio's Rice Powder ( translucid ) and  MAC's Peaches blush + Too Faced's Pink Leopard highlighter.

Olhos/Eyes:

Apliquei o Milk Jumbo Pencil da NYX sobre toda a pálpebra e o ossinho da sombracelha

*se você tiver uma sombra branca bem pigmentada pode pular esse estágio

Applied NYX's Milk jumbo pencil all over the eye up to the browbone

* If you own a well pigmented white eyeshadow, you can skip this step

Apliquei uma sombra branca matte em todo o olho e em seguida apliquei a sombra Dollipop da Sugarpill no canto externo do olho formando um V definido ( usei um pincel "lápis" )

Applied a matte white eyeshadow all over the eye and browbone then applied Sugarpill's Dollipop on the outer corner of the eye creating a well defined V (applied w/ a pencil brush )

Apliquei a Buttercupcake no canto interno dos olhos e puxei uma linha para criar um "bico". Depois esfumei as cores para criar um gradiente ( c/ um pincel de blending )

Applied Sugarpill's Buttercupcake on the inner corner of the eye and pulled it inwards creating a "beak" . And blended the colors together ( w/ a blending brush )

Apliquei primer no centro dos olhos e por cima aplique a Lumi da Sugarpill ( c/ um pincel de sombra curto )

Applied primer on the center of the lid and applied Sugarpill's Lumi on top of it ( w/ a short shader brush )

Apliquei as mesmas cores na parte de baixo dos olhos ( no caso da amarela apliquei uma sombra dourada por baixo antes para dar um brilho ) e segui com a aplicação do delineador Marked for Glamour da MAC e um pouquinho de Lumi por cima ( c/ um pincel "lápis")

Delineei dentro dos olhos com o Velvet da NYX e a parte de cima com lápis preto

Mascara (rímel) de definição

Applied the same eyeshadow shades on the bottom of the eyes ( I used some gold eyeshadow beneath the yellow one to create a shine effect on the corner of the eyes ) followed by MAC's Marked for Glamour eyeliner w/ a bit o Lumi on top of it ( w/ a pencil brush )

Lined the waterline w/ NYX's Velvet and tightened up the upper waterline w/ black eyeliner

Definition Mascara

Lábios/Lips:

Usei o balm Gentle Coral da MAC para dar uma cor bem leve

I applied MAC's Gentle Coral lip balm for a soft wash of color
